Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential/commercial plumbing systems including leaks, clogs, and pipe installations
- Install and maintain water heaters, garbage disposals, and plumbing fixtures
- Perform pipefitting, welding, and drainage system inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Provide emergency plumbing services during after-hours and weekends as needed
- Conduct system inspections and prepare detailed service reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional plumbing experience
- Valid plumbing license/certification in DC or Georgia (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Strong diagnostic skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Proficiency in pipefitting, soldering, and trenchless repair techniques
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Must possess reliable transportation and basic hand tools
- Flexibility to travel between Washington DC and Georgia locations
