Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other skilled trades with material handling
- Operate basic machinery (forklifts, jackhammers, etc.) safely
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Read blueprints and interpret construction instructions
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain project logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong teamwork skills and punctuality
- Must pass background check and drug screening
