Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential/commercial properties
- Diagnose and resolve complex plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, and pipe corrosion
- Read blueprints and technical schematics for system modifications
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and order plumbing materials/equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service and detailed project documentation
- Mentor junior plumbers and maintain service quality standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional plumbing experience
- Valid DC plumbing license or equivalent certification
- Expert knowledge of backflow prevention and water treatment systems
- Proficiency with trenchless pipe repair and hydro-jetting technologies
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills for emergency troubleshooting
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
