Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
- Manage weekend shift schedules and coordinate with on-call teams
- Train junior electricians on safety protocols and best practices
- Document all maintenance and repair activities in digital systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Louisiana Electrician Journeyman or Master License
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proven expertise with PLC systems and VFD installations
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure weekend environments
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Flexible availability for weekends and emergency call-outs
