Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential/commercial properties
- Respond to emergency calls during weekend shifts with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Ensure compliance with NYC plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Perform preventative maintenance to prevent system failures
- Collaborate with project managers to coordinate weekend installations
- Maintain detailed service reports and inventory management
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid NYC Master Plumber license required
- Expertise in pipefitting, water heater systems, and drain clearing
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Physical stamina for confined space work and heavy lifting
- Exceptional problem-solving under pressure
- Weekend availability mandatory (Sat/Sun shifts)
