Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) with precision
- Assist skilled tradespeople in carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Load/unhaul materials using forklifts and skid steers (certification provided)
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- OSHA-10 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexible schedule including weekend availability
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Milwaukee residency preferred (local hire initiative)
