Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., jackhammers, concrete saws) with precision and safety
- Assist skilled trades with framing, demolition, and finishing work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet tight project deadlines
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
