Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and site preparation tasks using hand tools and equipment
- Assist skilled tradespersons with material handling and equipment operation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction plans accurately
- Operate machinery including jackhammers, saws, and power tools safely
- Complete daily reporting and documentation of work progress
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Must possess reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
