Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation and cleanup tasks to maintain safety and efficiency
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and equipment operation
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and project specifications
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor in all weather conditions
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery safely and effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid O-10 Construction Worker certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and hazard recognition
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte metro
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Experience with power tools (saws, drills, etc.) preferred
