Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain equipment functionality
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions to execute construction plans accurately
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, carts, and light machinery as needed
- Report maintenance issues and participate in daily team briefings
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous outdoor work
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screening
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
