Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites through excavation, grading, and material setup
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with precision
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Install and maintain scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Mix concrete, pour foundations, and finish surfaces to specifications
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to maintain project timelines
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills in dynamic environments
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends on critical path projects
