Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare job sites, including debris removal, excavation, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Assistance: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Support Trades: Assist carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by carrying supplies and performing basic tasks.
- Quality Control: Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety standards at all times.
- Measurements: Assist in measuring and cutting materials to required specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Tools: Basic understanding of hand and power tools is a plus.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions clearly and communicate effectively with the crew.
- Attendance: Strong work ethic with a history of punctuality and reliability.
