Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks to the work site.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks as needed.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe work area by sweeping, shoveling, and removing waste regularly.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic power tools and hand tools under direct supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods outdoors.
- Willingness to Learn: No experience is necessary; we provide on-the-job training.
- Valid ID: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation to get to the job site.
