Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Tool Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, carpenters, plumbers) by providing necessary tools and materials.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, cleaning up spills, and removing waste.
- Basic Operations: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Quality Control: Perform basic quality checks on work areas to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor, lift heavy objects (50+ lbs), and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to learn new skills and grow within the construction field.
- Availability: Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Experience: No prior experience is required; we provide on-the-job training.
