Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery safely (forklifts, excavators, etc.) with proper certification
- Assist carpenters and masons with layout, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA standards and company protocols
- Perform quality checks on completed work and report discrepancies
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficient in operating hand/power tools and basic machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
