Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Safely operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with proper waste management protocols
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company quality guidelines
- Support team logistics through material staging and equipment maintenance
- Complete daily progress reports and time documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Richmond area
- Availability for Saturday/Sunday shifts (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for no-shows
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
