Responsibilities
- Assist in various phases of construction including excavation, site preparation, and general labor.
- Load and unload construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Operate power tools and basic heavy machinery under supervision when certified.
- Follow blueprints and detailed instructions from supervisors to ensure project goals are met.
- Perform physical labor including lifting, digging, and carrying materials as needed.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the site manager immediately.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not always required.
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
