Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and organizing materials
- Assist skilled trades with tasks like digging trenches, pouring concrete, and erecting scaffolding
- Operate hand/power tools safely (hammers, saws, drills, etc.) under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent hazards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment as directed
- Assist in demolition and site cleanup operations
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous outdoor work
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain)
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Willingness to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and collaborate with team members
