Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling at construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely
- Assist skilled tradespeople with framing, concrete pouring, and site prep
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow OSHA protocols
- Load/unload trucks and stage construction materials efficiently
- Set up/dismantle temporary structures and safety barriers
- Collaborate with crew members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Basic tool knowledge or willingness to learn (training provided)
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation to job sites within San Jose
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal instructions without supervision
