Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools (certification provided)
- Read blueprints and technical specifications to ensure precise construction execution
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Complete daily progress reports and inventory management tasks
- Participate in team huddles and quality control inspections
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions and variable weather
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
