Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Read blueprints and execute tasks under supervisor guidance
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and debris removal using proper techniques
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery after certification
- Complete daily progress reports and quality checks
- Adapt to changing project demands and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overtime
- Willingness to work in both DC and Virginia locations
