Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to understand wiring layouts.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, identifying and replacing faulty components.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to prevent failures.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local building codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under time pressure.
- Current valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
