Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties
- Install new fixtures, pipes, and water systems according to local codes
- Perform emergency services for leaks, clogs, and water damage mitigation
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Inspect and maintain plumbing equipment for optimal performance
- Provide excellent customer service and detailed project documentation
- Maintain inventory of parts and tools for efficient job completion
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional plumbing experience
- Valid DC plumbing license (journeyman/master level)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
