Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and equipment operation on construction sites
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free environment
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery including jackhammers, saws, and excavators
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute tasks accurately
- Participate in building foundations, framing, and finishing work
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and overtime
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
