Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling grounds, and setting up safety barriers
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, equipment operation, and task completion
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction tasks accurately
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery under supervision
- Adhere to project timelines and communicate progress to site supervisors
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and other physically demanding tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Commitment to maintaining OSHA safety standards
