Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and control devices in residential and commercial settings.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute wiring layouts accurately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all local and national electrical codes, OSHA safety standards, and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical malfunctions and system failures efficiently.
- Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of electrical work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients and project managers to understand requirements and provide updates.
- Tools & Equipment: Operate and maintain a variety of electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution systems.
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license for job site travel.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Professional demeanor with the ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly with non-technical staff.
