Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical specifications
- Ensure strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Michigan state regulations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using advanced testing equipment
- Lead safety inspections and maintain detailed project documentation
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to meet deadlines
- Mentor junior electricians and maintain high-quality work standards
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Electrician License (Journeyman or Master required)
- Minimum 4 years of verifiable electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Expertise in reading technical schematics and blueprints
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in high-pressure environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
