Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters.
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues using diagnostic tools and provide effective, long-term solutions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Inspect systems to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies and recommend upgrades.
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs and provide professional estimates.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia Journeyman or Master Plumber License required.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- In-depth knowledge of pipe materials, fittings, and installation techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces.
