Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain complex electrical systems, including power distribution and lighting.
- Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting to ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Mentor junior electricians and provide technical guidance on project specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Valid Master Electrician license in New York State (or equivalent state license).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification in OSHA safety standards is preferred.
