Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of water supply, drainage, and other plumbing systems.
- Locate and mark positions for pipes, fittings, and equipment, and measure, cut, and thread pipe.
- Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Ensure compliance with all building codes and local regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Plumber License.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
