Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols on active sites
- Assist skilled tradespersons with installations and structural work
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) with proper certification
- Perform site cleanup and waste management to maintain compliance
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform strenuous physical tasks
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Experience operating construction machinery (certification preferred)
- Ability to work independently in dynamic environments
- Flexible schedule availability including nights and weekends
- Basic blueprint reading skills
