Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site tasks, including digging, framing, and concrete work.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members regarding daily schedules and requirements.
Qualifications
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM) and weekends as required.
- Physically fit with the stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to work in Fort Worth, TX.
- Basic math skills for measuring materials and cutting components.
- Experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not always required; training provided.
- Willingness to travel to Virginia projects if business needs dictate.
