Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy construction machinery and power tools safely.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various building tasks.
- Ensure the construction site is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols strictly.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy loads.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM).
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor for extended periods.
- Valid North Carolina Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; we provide training.
- Must pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
