Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems in high-rise buildings
- Perform emergency repairs during night shift operations
- Read and interpret complex blueprints and technical schematics
- Ensure strict compliance with NFPA 70E and Florida Electrical Code
- Coordinate with facility managers on preventative maintenance schedules
- Train apprentices on advanced electrical systems
- Document all work using digital reporting systems
- Conduct voltage testing and safety inspections
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Journeyman Electrician license (mandatory)
- Minimum 3 years commercial electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Expertise in 3-phase systems, VFDs, and PLC troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical faults
