Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial/industrial facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform diagnostic testing and repairs on transformers, motors, and control systems
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and NFPA safety standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades and energy efficiency projects
- Manage inventory and order electrical components as needed
- Document all work activities and maintain accurate maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Minnesota Journeyman Electrician license required
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
