Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial facilities
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using advanced testing equipment
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local safety regulations
- Lead emergency response teams during critical power outages
- Train junior electricians on advanced techniques and safety protocols
- Document all work using digital reporting systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Texas Electrician Journeyman License
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Expertise in PLC systems, VFDs, and motor controls
- Proven ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Strong diagnostic skills with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and clamp meters
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and on-call rotations
- Valid driver's license with clean record
