Responsibilities
- Perform emergency and scheduled plumbing repairs and maintenance during night shifts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex pipe, valve, and fixture issues efficiently.
- Install, repair, and maintain water heaters, boilers, and sewage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential plumbing hazards or leaks.
- Collaborate with day shift supervisors to ensure seamless operations handovers.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Plumber License required (valid in New York State).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, backflow prevention, and water treatment.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in confined spaces.
