Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential/commercial plumbing emergencies (leaks, clogs, water heater failures) during night shifts
- Install, maintain, and upgrade plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and water treatment equipment
- Respond to after-hours service calls within 60 minutes in Los Angeles metro area
- Prepare detailed service reports and provide transparent cost estimates to customers
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and local plumbing codes during all repairs
- Collaborate with day-shift team for seamless service continuity and handover
- Manage inventory and maintain company vehicle/tools in optimal condition
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years verifiable plumbing experience with night shift/after-hours exposure
- Valid California Plumbing License (C-36) or Journeyman certification
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex plumbing emergencies (gas leaks, burst pipes)
- Excellent customer service with ability to de-escalate urgent situations
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record for company vehicle use
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces/crawl areas
- Spanish bilingual skills highly valued for diverse LA clientele
