Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Load/un construction materials and debris from vehicles
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and follow safety protocols
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Perform general cleanup and waste management duties
- Assist in setting up temporary structures and safety barriers
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus (training provided)
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Oakland/East Bay
- Basic communication skills and ability to take direction
- Flexible availability (weekends/evenings possible)
- Willingness to submit to background/drug screening
