Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, unloading deliveries, and equipment setup
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Perform basic concrete work, trenching, and site leveling as directed
- Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to project timelines and quality standards consistently
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic hand/power tool experience or willingness to learn
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
