Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Install new plumbing systems and components per building codes
- Perform preventative maintenance on commercial plumbing infrastructure
- Respond to emergency calls with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Prepare detailed service reports and invoices
- Maintain inventory of plumbing tools and materials
- Adhere to safety protocols and EPA regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of plumbing experience with DC license required
- Valid Journeyman Plumber certification in District of Columbia
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
- Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and lift heavy materials
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
