Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties
- Diagnose and resolve complex pipe, fixture, and drainage issues
- Collaborate with contractors and property managers on renovation projects
- Ensure compliance with NYC plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Provide emergency plumbing services during after-hours and weekends
- Manage inventory and order plumbing materials efficiently
- Train junior plumbers on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional plumbing experience in commercial/residential settings
- Valid New York State Plumbing License (Master Plumber preferred)
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Expertise in pipefitting, drain cleaning, and fixture installation
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot under pressure
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Experience with trenchless pipe repair technologies a plus
