Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Diagnose and execute the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems, including water heaters and drainage lines.
- System Diagnostics: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify leaks, clogs, and pressure issues within piping infrastructure and recommend effective solutions.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients, explaining technical issues in clear, understandable terms and offering professional solutions.
- Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and national plumbing codes (ICC, UPC) and safety regulations to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of materials used and manage inventory levels to ensure job site efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Emergency Response: Be available for emergency call-outs and urgent repairs to minimize customer downtime.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber license required (Illinois or DC certification accepted).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial plumbing.
- Tools: Must own a fully stocked, professional-grade tool belt and van.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, welding, pipefitting, soldering, and using trenchless technology.
- Reliability: Must have a clean driving record and be available for overtime and weekend shifts.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
