Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial properties
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure strict compliance with local plumbing codes (NYC/Florida regulations)
- Perform preventative maintenance on water heaters, boilers, and HVAC systems
- Lead emergency response teams for burst pipes, leaks, and gas line issues
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
- Manage inventory and order plumbing materials/equipment
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on plumbing experience with valid state licenses (NY or FL)
- Master Plumber certification preferred (NY Local 1 or Florida DBPR license)
- Expert knowledge of pipefitting, drainage systems, and backflow prevention
- OSHA 30 certification and confined space training
- Proficiency with trenchless technology and pipe lining systems
- Exceptional problem-solving skills under pressure
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme conditions
