Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential/commercial properties
- Respond to emergency calls within 2 hours during on-duty rotations
- Diagnose pipe bursts, clogs, leaks, and fixture malfunctions using diagnostic tools
- Adhere to DC plumbing codes and safety protocols for all installations
- Collaborate with project managers on large-scale renovations and new constructions
- Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate inventory logs
- Mentor junior plumbers on best practices and troubleshooting techniques
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid DC Master Plumber license or equivalent reciprocity
- OSHA 10 certification and backflow prevention certification
- Proficiency in trenchless pipe repair and hydro-jetting systems
- Strong diagnostic skills with pipe cameras and pressure testers
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Emergency response experience preferred
