Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential/commercial plumbing systems (water lines, drains, fixtures)
- Install new piping, fixtures, and water heaters according to NYC plumbing codes
- Perform emergency leak repairs and burst pipe interventions
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections for commercial clients
- Collaborate with contractors and building management teams
- Maintain accurate service reports and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Plumber's License (Class 1 or 2)
- 5+ years of hands-on plumbing experience in NYC
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and permit requirements
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure emergency situations
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex plumbing issues
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- CPR certification preferred
