Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Perform cleanup and debris removal at job sites
- Read and interpret simple construction plans and instructions
- Maintain a safe work environment following OSHA guidelines
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Support various trade tasks including framing, concrete work, and demolition
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform manual labor
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Availability for weekend shifts (Saturdays/Sundays)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
