Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including material handling, excavation, and equipment operation under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled tradesmen with carpentry, concrete pouring, and framing tasks
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site regulations
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper tool maintenance
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Support site preparation, cleanup, and waste management procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent physical work background
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials (hammers, saws, levels, etc.)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with weekend availability (Sat/Sun 6AM-4PM)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively in diverse teams
