Responsibilities
- Assist with construction tasks including material handling, site cleanup, and equipment operation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) on task completion
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and operating hand tools
- Report project progress and issues to site supervisors
- Adhere to company policies and project timelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Team player with clear communication skills
