Responsibilities
- Execute physical construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment under supervision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work environments
- Assist skilled trades with layout, measurements, and installation support
- Complete daily equipment checks and maintenance reports
- Load/unload materials safely using proper lifting techniques
- Collaborate with team leads to meet weekend project milestones
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience with weekend shift availability
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for material estimation and measurement
- Strong communication skills in English (Spanish a plus)
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
